Your Checklist For A Complete Grant Application
New and renewal applications must be submitted through the Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS)
in response to a solicitation. To view the current Fiscal Year's Solicitation's, please view the
Office of Science Grants and Contracts Web Site
- Face Page (Form DOE F 4650.2) including authorizing signatures
- Budget Page(s) (Form DOE F. 4620.1)
It is particularly important to provide a
written justification for each budget item; especially travel, items of equipment, and other direct costs.
Provide one Budget Page for each year (assuming the project will be funded one year at a time). Separate budgets at a lower task level are not required unless specifically requested by the DOE program manager. A summary budget for the entire project period is no longer required.
- Project Description
- Biographical Sketches: Background and experience of Principal
Investigator
- Facilities and Resources: Description of facilities, resources and
experience of applicant organization
- Bibliography of literature
- Statement of current and pending support
- Assurances and certifications
- Assurance of Compliance

- Certifications Regarding Lobbying; Debarment, Suspension
and Other Responsibility Matters; and Drug-Free Workplace
Requirements

- Simpson-Craig Amendment Representation
[Only 501(c)(4)Non-Profit Organizations]
- Energy Policy Act (EPAct) Representation
[Only companies]
For renewal applications also include:
- Separate section in the renewal application that describes
the progress or results of work accomplished through the date
of the renewal application.
- Estimate of the unobligated balance
